A state public education system administers education from middle school through college for public schools in their state. The education system partners with schools, administrators, and individual educators to create programs of study, process grant applications, and distribute federal and state funds across the state. They are critical to Career and Technical Education success in that state.

Problem

Client needed to replatform a suite of critical applications and was experiencing pain around:

• Integration: The data and systems did not integrate and were cumbersome to use
• Data Security: The entire system was vulnerable to data breach
• Identity Management: Each application required its own log-in/password

Solution

We assembled an engineering team to rebuild all the dated, on-premise applications in the Microsoft Azure Cloud.

In addition to the core requirements, the new system would allow:

• Management of state and federal reporting requirements
• Access to critical reports to check status, track progress, and respond to inquiries from stakeholders (internal and external)
• High-quality customer service and end-user support
• A seamless, unified, and delightful UX
